Computer-Assisted Test Item Analysis
Division of Academic Affairs and Research, Faculty of Liberal Arts held a training course on Computer-Assisted Test Item Analysis at the Faculty of Business Administration on 14-15 November 2012. The objectives were to assist the teachers to prepare test items for every subject and to analyze the properties of test items. Computer ? assisted analysis system helped reduce the time required for taking measurement and delivered more accurate and reliable results.
Graduation Rehearsal
Division of Student Affairs, Faculty of Liberal Arts held the Graduation Rehearsal for the 2011 academic year on 22 November 2012 at Prince Ballroom 2, Prince Palace Hotel. Graduates from four departments of English for International Communication, Hotel, Tourism and Applied Thai attended the ceremony and were given the graduation address by the Faculty?s Dean.
Career- Ready Students in Hospitality Job
To serve the awareness of the importance of career-ready-students, foundation in life and career related to personality, potential, aptitude and students? needs, Department of Hotel invited Mr. Phuchong Malasan, a guest speaker from Mandarin oriental Hotel, to guide his learning and experiences in the career path of hotel for the fourth year students on 7 November 2012 at Abhakara Meeting Room. The purposes of this event were to prepare the students? readiness in the hospitality job and encourage the students to improve their potentials to respond the enterprises? needs suitable for personality, potential, aptitude and students? needs.
Piyamaharaj Day
October 23 is the anniversary of the death of King Chulalongkorn (Rama V), one of Thailand's greatest monarchs. The most important thing he did is abolish slavery but he also did many other reforms in order to modernize the country including the expansion of the communication system and the establishment of post and telegraph services.
To commemorate the death anniversary of our beloved King, RMUTP administrators, lecturers and students from the Faculty of Liberal Arts performed a wreath - laying ceremony in front of the Equestrian Statue of King Rama V at the Royal Plaza.

Mr. Pakapon Salathong, Dean of the Faculty of Liberal Arts presided over the opening of a teacher retirement ceremony for Asst. Prof. Woranart Kaewmongkol, a lecturer of Humanities and Social Sciences Department with warm and impressive atmosphere on 9 October 2012 at the Faculty of Liberal Arts.

Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon signed an MOU with Pongsawadi Technological College for academic collaboration in Tourism on 10 October 2012 at the President Office.
Sunthorn Phu Day 2012
On 26 June 2012, Art and Culture section together with Thai Courses, and Applied Thai arranged ?Sunthorn Phu Day 2012? at Prommongkol Building, Faculty of Business Administration. This activity was held to commemorate the birth of Sunthorn Phu and promote Thai language. Moreover, activities consisted of poem contest, handwriting contest, and Thai traditional dramatic performance (Li-ke) by Makampom Li-ke band. The performance made great entertainment and knowledge about literature for audiences.
NCVT student orientation
For Academic Year 2012, RMUTP arranged an orientation to welcome 37 Chinese Students from Nanning College for Vocational Technology (NCVT), Guangxi, Republic of China. They studied Applied Thai Program at Arpakorn room, the Faculty of Liberal Arts.

Teacher exchange
Asst. Prof. Weena Sanguanphong, a lecturer of Thai subject was invited to teach Thai subject at Nanning College for Vocational Technology during 24 March ? 30 May 2012, under the proposed agreement of the MOU RMUTP signed. She was assigned to teach Listening and Speaking and Thai Etiquette for the second year students (2+2 program) and Introduction to Thailand for the first year students (1+3 program). What she experienced in teaching at NCVT was remarkable; she learned different culture of students who are going to study Applied Thai Program with RMUTP.
The 4th RMUTP International Conference
Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon (RMUTP) and the Technical University of Liberec (TUL) from the Czech Republic co-hosted the 4th annual International Conference on Textiles and Fashion at the Bangkok Pullman King Power on July 3rd-4th 2012.
The conference provided an opportunity for scientists, scholars, and students from both the public and private sector to present and discuss their research findings in the field of textiles and fashion.
We were honored by the presence of Her Royal Highness Princess Soamsawali at the opening ceremony event.
Wai Kru day
The Faculty of Liberal Arts held a Wai Kru day on 28 June 2012 at Abhakorn Kiattiwong Meeting Room. In this ceremony students brought flowers to their teachers as a symbol of their respect and readiness to learn. Activities included Paan competition and certification and granting certification for outstanding students.
